Antonino makes it to the charts


After only two weeks from the release, Antonino’s first single “Ce la farò” (”I will make it”) is now 5th in the Italian charts. Altavox arranged 3 of the songs on the single, while Mario Lavezzi was in charge of the production.

Pokito a Poko goes Platinum

“Pokito A Poko”, the latest album by flamenco-chill band “Chambao”, has just gone Platinum in Spain. That means over 80,000 copies sold, so congratulations guys! The album was produced by Bob Benozzo for Altavox and arranged by Bob and William Bottin.

Los Pecos: new album in stores!

“Un manantial de ternura”, the new release by Spanish duo Los Pecos, will be out on November 29. The album was produced by Altavox and the songs arranged by Bob Benozzo, Danilo Ballo, Olmo Costa, Maurizio Campo and Fabio Perversi. Congratulations to Los Pecos for their 28th year of music career!

Sanz collects his 12th Latin Grammy

On November 3rd at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, Sanz’s song “Tu No Tienes Alma” was awarded the 2005 Latin Grammy for Record of the Year and Song of the Year. Congratulations to Alejandro for his 12th Grammy award! Sanz asked us personally to supervise the mastering of his “Grandes Exitos 91″ - the compilation which “Tu No Tienes Alma” is from. We can’t be anything but proud of the results of this release!

first single for Antonino

Out on november 18th “Ce la farò” (”I will make it”), Antonino Spadaccino’s first single. Antonino is young Italian singer, already well known for having won the Italian edition of “Fame” tv show. altavox participated in the arrangements for this first single, which includes 3 other songs: “Un ultimo bridivo” (”one last chill”) and the cover versions of “Sailing” and “Can’t help falling in love with you”. Antonino is produced by Italian legendary producer Mario Lavezzi.

Jerry Rivera: Ay mi vida

Puertorican singer Jerry Rivera is about to release his new album “Ay Mi Vida”.
The production of 6 of the tracks was carried out by Emanuele Ruffinengo and Altavox. Moreover, 4 songs in the album were written by our authors and published by Stay Tuned, our own publishing company. “Ay Mi Vida” (Sony-Bmg Latina) will be in stores starting November 1st.

Manu Tenorio’s new album

Sevillian singer Manu Tenorio is now working on a new album which will be produced by Bob Benozzo and Altavox. Manu has already written all the songs and will soon come here in Milan to record the vocal tracks. While Tenorio’s previous releases were based upon flamenco rhythms, this new project will have more distinct pop feel to it.

Andy & Lucas nominated for Latin Grammys

We just found out (and we are very glad to spread the news) that Andy & Lucas are among the nominees for the 2005 Latin Grammys. Their latest album “Desde Mi Barrio” (BMG Music) we co-produced with Alejo Stivel was nominated in the “Best pop album by a group or duo” category. Congratulations guys, this is indeed quite an accomplishment! We are all keeping out fingers and toes crossed for you!
