Yahir is the young singer that came out of the first serie of musical TV show “La academia” (mexican version of “Operacion Triunfo”, “Pop Idol” etc.). His first album, simply titled “Yahir”, soon arrived at #1 in native Mexico charts and won him the double platinum recognition.

He’s also a famous actor and has recently shot the telenovela “Soñarás” that will be telecasted by TV channel “Azteca” next march.

Yahir just received a nomination as “upcoming artist of the year” at the prestigious Award “Lo Nuestro” and is already considered the new idol of mexican pop.
