Frangoulis is Achilles, in Aeschilus lost trilogy

Last July, after 2500 years from its draft, Aeschilus tragedy «Myrmidons, Nereids, Phrygians» has been performed in what we can properly call, a worldwide premiere.

On the 5th of Agust, to celebrate and honour both the Olympics and the 50th anniversary of the Epidaurus Festival, the play will debut in Athens.

The incredible story of how the greek masterpiece got lost during the fires of the 7th century, in the Alexandria Library, then came to light after more than 100 years of reassemblings, in various languages and thanks to endless experts care, and egyptian papyrus and mummies, just add even more charm and glory to this piece of art.

Definitely cross-over , Mario’s carreer adorn itself, with this role of Achilles, of a uniquely prestigious chapter.
