Ara Malikian, born in Lebanon in an Armenian family, is considered one of the best violinists in the world. We met him in occasion of the recording sessions for Chambao’s latest album, in which Malikian was featured as guest musician and contributed with his outstanding violin tracks.

The collaboration with this great musician has further developed and we are now producing his first non-classical album for Warner Spain: a project in which Spanish as well as international pop classics will be revisited in a modern sound that will bring together electronica and acoustic flamenco sounds. The track list includes: “Si tú no vuelves”, “Pa’ mi genio”, “Pena penita pena”, “Penelope”, “Hijo de la luna”, “Bésame mucho”, “Caruso”, “Fado”, “Todo es de color”.

We are already working to this new production, which will feature different music styles and above all the talent of an outstanding violinist that is making his first journey in pop music.
