After hearing Chambao’s music, Ricky Martin immediately became a fan of their unique flamenco-chill sound. So, during his European tour, Ricky and Chambao’s vocalist Mary met and discussed a collaboration, that was then brought to life in Miami when Ricky and Mary dueted on “Tu Recuerdo” for Martin’s Mtv Unplugged show. Now, upon Ricky Martin’s request, Bob Benozzo (producer of Chambao) has created a remix of the song in the typical and unique Chambao style. The remix was very much liked by Martin and we’re all looking forward for its release.

Luciano Pereyra has recently finished recording his fifth album “Porque Aun Te Amo“, out soon on Emi Music Argentina. Two of the tracks (”Celos” and “Café”) have been arranged and mixed by the Altavox team.

Our producer Simone Chivilò has recently been awarded at the Italian Prize for Independent Music as best producer of 2006. Congratulations!

We recently started the production of the debut album by Fernando Castro. Fernando is a young Andalusian songwriter, who had a rather troubled life… After many years of concerts at the renowned venue La Carboneria in Sevilla, Fernando makes it to Maria Jimenez’s tv show “Bienaventurados”, immediately catching the interest of Spanish records companies. Paco Martin (head of A&R for Sony-Bmg) calls him up offering contract. The album will be produced by Bob Benozzo.
