The fruitful collaboration between Altavox and Chambao is keeping on: after the amazing success of their previous album “Endorfinas en la mente”, which sold 80.000 copies all over the world, here they are back on the stage with “Pokito a poko”, an album that highlights their maturation, both from the composition and the themes point of view, without changing the original musical intent.

This collaboration is about something really exciting: Altavox took part in the tribute album for the 40 years long carrer of Serrat, living legend of latin contemporary music. We’re talking about The History! And we’re proud to be part of it.

The compilation, “Serrat… eres único 2″, gathers together some of the most important voices of the spanish music area, venturing upon singing the greatest hits of Barcellona’s singer and songwriter: some of the most important names are Alejandro Sanz, Antonio Orozco, Malú… and Chambao. “Hoy puede ser un gran día”, the song recorded by Chambao and produced by Bob Benozzo, is an emblem of the transition between two ages, tradition and technology fused together in the unique “Chambao Sound”.
